CodeBlue Technology is seeking to hire a full-time Systems Engineer to provide onsite and remote support to our valued clients.  Our clients offer a variety of environments primarily composed of Server products from Microsoft (Windows Server, Exchange Server, Small Business Server, Hyper-V) and VMware (Vsphere, ESXi) running on hardware primarily from HP and Dell.

What You Will Be Doing

• Manage and maintain existing client networks
• Provide end-user support both on-site and remote
• VMWare systems administration
• VMWare ESXi 5 or up experience
• Maintain system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, applying patches, and performance tuning
• Troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems; escalating application problems to vendor.
• Performing project work and server builds, upgrades and migrations in a fast-paced environment
• Conducting troubleshooting of Windows Operating Systems, Exchange
• Developing documentation required to support a program’s technical issues and training situations
• Responsible for monitoring and supporting LAN/WAN/MAN network communication systems including troubleshooting. Collaborates in troubleshooting, configuring, documenting and installing network communication systems including but not limited to routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

What You Need for this Position

• A minimum of Five (5) years’ experience
• Certifications to include, but not limited to:
• VM Ware: VTSP (minimum) or VCP (preferred)
• Microsoft: MCP of choice – Server, Desktop or Application (MCSA, MCSD, MCSE – preferred)
• Position requires knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Group Policy, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft WSUS, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare, Microsoft Exchange, and Citrix
• Strong MAC experience preferred
• Linux/Unix operating systems and environments
• Ability to interact with Customer and teams in a positive, results oriented, professional fashion
• Ability to resolve problems in a timely and proactive manner
• Excellent organization, prioritization skills as well as proactive and energetic approach
